A special morning at the GHS Tennis Courts on Saturday as the Erich Grabowski Dedication brought together players, colleagues, family, and community members to celebrate a coach who meant so much to so many.
Coach Grabowski’s passion for the game and dedication to his student-athletes continue to leave a lasting mark, and it was an honor to recognize his legacy in such a meaningful way.

A Gulfport High School student was named second runner-up for the 2026 Top ALL-STAR Scholar award at the Mississippi Business Alliance Foundation’s (MSBA) 61st Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Student and Teacher Celebration at the Clyde Muse Center in Pearl. William “Crosby” P. of Gulfport High School was the second runner-up and received a $16,000 scholarship. Each STAR Student designated a STAR Teacher who made the greatest contribution to their scholastic achievement. Teachers selected by the top three students received a $1,500 award.
Parker chose Ellen Buntyn, a National Board-certified teacher with 14 years’ experience, as his STAR Teacher.

Students and parents are encouraged to wear a T-shirt showcasing their chosen college, military branch, or business/industry.
We’ll have college representatives and military recruiters on-site to help mark the occasion. Let’s sweeten the start of their next chapter—see you there!

GHS AIG Kid’s Spring Intersession Camp brought the energy! ⚡️
From designing and racing battery-powered cars and learning the basics of car maintenance to building penny boats and stepping into the courtroom for the Three Little Pigs vs. The Big Bad Wolf mock trial, our students were fully engaged and had a blast!
Our GHS student counselors and instructors loved hosting these amazing upper-elementary and middle-schoolers on campus. It’s hands-on learning, creativity, and fun all in one place!
We are incredibly thankful for our grant from Ingalls Shipbuilding—your support helps make opportunities like this possible! And hats off to Mrs. Hornback and instructors for their hard work and dedication in bringing this camp to life!

Our talented Quest students from all the elementary schools and both middle schools showcased the incredible projects they've been working on throughout the year. From the robotics team giving driving lessons in preparation for the world competition at the end of April, to underwater robotics, LEGO STEAM, community projects, Macey Day balloon creations, chess tournments, fingerprint exploration, and steps to publishing - the creativity and hard work on display were truly inspiring!
