The Gulfport School District proudly invites the community to join in honoring our nation’s heroes at the annual Veterans Day Breakfast &

Celebration on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Gulfport High School.

The morning will begin with a complimentary breakfast prepared by the Gulfport High School Culinary program to recognize and thank local veterans for their service and sacrifice. Following breakfast, a special celebration will feature performances by the Gulfport Fine Arts Department and the Gulfport High Cheerleaders, paying tribute through music, dance, and school spirit.

This year’s ceremony will also include a JROTC Cake Cutting Ceremony in honor of the 251st Birthday of the United States Marine Corps, symbolizing the unity and proud tradition of those who have served.

“Veterans Day provides an opportunity not only to honor those who have served but also to inspire our upperclassmen to understand the value of service,” said Dr. Rachel Gibson, Principal. “We hope this celebration instills pride in our students, encouraging them to appreciate the commitment required to serve one’s community and country.”

The event is open to all veterans and their families, as well as members of the Gulfport community.
