The Gulfport High School Fine Arts Department is thrilled to invite you to the 2026 MHSAA 58th Region V. State Marching Evaluation & Battle on the Beach Competition. This event will take place on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2026, at Milner Stadium in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Hosted by the Gulfport High School Admiral Band, this all day event will feature performances from over 32 High School Marching Bands along with 2 College Marching Bands in exhibition. The first performance begins at 9:00 AM with the MHSAA State Marching Evaluation, followed by the evening’s Battle on the Beach Competition.

$15 Full Day Pass
Spectators will enjoy a variety of food and beverages from vendors on site, including Allen Beverages, Admiral concessions, Papa John’s Pizza and Frios Gourmet Pops!
The event will be professionally photographed by Brandon Boyd of Boyd Media capturing action packed photos of each marching band and CA Video providing coverage to ensure every moment is captured.
This celebration of music and performance brings together students, families, and the community for a day filled with entertainment and competition.
