Gulfport High School welcomes Dr. Joshua Broussard as an Assistant Principal.  Mr. Broussard has had the privilege of serving the families of the Gulfport School District for over eleven years. He attended the University of South Alabama to earn his undergraduate degree and William Carey University and the University of Southern Mississippi for graduate studies.  Mr. Broussard considers himself extremely blessed to serve as Gulfport High School’s Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  He is looking forward to working with an amazing administrative team to lead a devoted faculty and staff that cares deeply for all students and is passionate about teaching and learning at the very highest levels.

Mr. Broussard firmly believes that communication is the key to a successful educational experience.  Gulfport High School’s success and the success of its students are the direct result of the dedication and support of our teachers, support staff, students, families, business partners, and community leaders.  Together, we will continue to improve our school’s achievement, realize even greater success, and provide opportunities and experiences for the students of Gulfport High School that will forever serve them as lifelong learners and productive members of society.  I am very excited to be a part of this upcoming school year!
